Legal Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Review, draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and agreements in both Thai and English, including commercial contracts, service agreements, memorandum of agreements (MOAs), addendums, amendments, and other contractual documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and business requirements.

- Act as the Company’s legal representative in executing legal transactions and coordinating with external parties, including individuals, corporate entities, business partners, and government authorities, as authorized by the Company, to safeguard the Company's interests and facilitate business operations in accordance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.

- Lead and support contract negotiations with domestic and international business partners to ensure appropriate allocation of risks, protect the Company's legal and commercial interests, and achieve commercially practical outcomes.

- Provide legal advice and guidance to business units on general corporate and commercial legal matters, as well as laws and regulations relating to the life insurance industry, ensuring that business activities are conducted in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

- Review, prepare, and vet correspondence, notices, and other communications to be issued to business partners, customers, regulators, government agencies, and external parties, ensuring legal accuracy, appropriateness of wording, and protection of the Company's interests and reputation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law.

- At least 10 years of experience in legal, corporate legal, or commercial contract matters.

- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in both Thai and English.

- Knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws, preferably within the life insurance or financial services industry.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal research abilities.

- Good command of written and spoken English.
